Tradewind privacy policy

This policy covers the Tradewind products listed on the Tradewind page, made by Jack Ewers, trading as Bloodweb, in Australia ("we"). The bloodweb.net website itself is covered by the Bloodweb privacy policy.

Save Image As PNG, JPG or WebP (Chrome extension)

• We collect nothing. No analytics, no tracking and no account.
• When you choose to save an image, the extension downloads that one image from the site it's on, converts it inside your browser, and saves it to your computer. Images you drop into the popup are converted the same way. No image is ever sent to us or to anyone else.
• Your settings (image quality, JPG background colour, whether to ask where to save) are kept with Chrome's own storage. If you use Chrome sync, Google syncs them between your devices. We never see them.

Why it asks for the permissions it does

• Read and change data on all websites: images can come from any site, and many are served from a different address than the page. The extension uses this only to fetch the image you right-clicked, and to show a short message on the page if a conversion fails. It doesn't read or change anything else on the page.
• Downloads: to save the converted file.
• Context menus: to add "Save image as PNG, JPG or WebP" to the right-click menu.
• Storage: to remember your settings.
• Offscreen document: to convert SVG images, which need a hidden page to draw them.

Free WooCommerce plugins

CSV Exporter for Australia Post and International Fees and Coupons run entirely on your own WordPress site. They make no requests to us or to anyone else, don't phone home, and don't track use. Your order data stays on your server. The CSV files the exporter creates are sent straight from your site to your browser.

Updates come from WordPress.org, under WordPress.org's privacy policy. If you download a plugin from bloodweb.net instead, we record the plugin, version, time, browser type and referring page to count downloads.

Paid add-ons (CSV Exporter Pro, International Fees and Coupons Pro)

When you buy

Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We keep your email address, your licence key, the product and its renewal date, and Stripe's customer and subscription references. We use your email to send your licence key, receipts and messages about your licence. We don't send marketing to it.

While the add-on is active

When you activate or deactivate, and once a day while the add-on is installed, your site sends our licence server:

• your licence key and the product name,
• your site's address (for example https://yourstore.com), and
• the add-on's version number.

We use these only to confirm the licence, enforce its site limit, and offer updates. We keep the list of sites activated on each licence and when each last checked in. No order, customer or product data is ever sent.

Server logs

Like most web servers, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested address and browser type) when your browser or site contacts bloodweb.net. We use them for security and troubleshooting, and they're deleted on a rolling basis.

Sharing

We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising. The only third party involved is Stripe, for payments. We'd disclose information only if the law required it.

Your choices

• Remove the extension or a plugin at any time. The free tools leave nothing with us.
• Deactivating a paid add-on removes your site from its licence.
• To see, correct or delete what we hold about your licence, email us. We'll need to keep payment records as long as Australian tax law requires.
